I take my work seriously, participating in professional groups, taking advantage of continuing education, and learning from all available sources. More importantly, I take your project seriously. The talliot given to a Bar/Bat Mitzvah should have meaning now and throughout their life. Whether it incorporates a theme from their Torah portion or a piece of textile from generations past, it should be unique to them. Similarly, a chuppah should reflect the couple, a spice box may commemorate a special wedding anniversary, a wall hanging may mark a life milestone; these sort of things are more meaningful if they are not "off the shelf" but rather unique to the recipient.
In a similar fashion, the project should be durable. My background in fine sewing means that the technical work will be well executed and you can anticipate many years of enjoyment from your piece.
